About Us

Housed in a quaint 2-storey pre-war building with a garden and indoor courtyard, Lightworks is located in a charming and increasingly quirky part of town, just behind Istana Hotel and a stone’s throw from Changkat Raja Chulan (we’re next to the jazz club ‘No Black Tie’ and the trendy eatery ‘Palate Pallette’).
With close to 3,000 sq ft of space, the Ground floor comprises a New Age retail section with a comprehensive selection of book and CD titles, tarot and divination card decks, crystals & gems and jewelry, Mikael Zayat’s essential oils, and numerous high- vibrational and unique new age tools and products, and of course a small but cheerful café & lounge area decorated with a personal collection of original mid-century modern & 70’s retro furniture.

The First floor on the other hand, is a dedicated space for healing, consultations, and workshops, with a large 590 sq ft main seminar/workshop & yoga space, and two smaller healing and consultation rooms.

We are now open DAILY from 11am – 8pm.

ABOUT LIGHTWORKS

KB Wong:"Darreck and I am healing practitioners and teachers. We have met many wonderful and capable healers and teachers and most of them were operating proverbially from their ‘backyards’. Lightworks is our way of providing a platform and infrastructure for these healers and teachers, where a well-managed and dedicated organisation could help take their work out of the ‘closet’ to the world, and make their services more known and accessible to the public. Our Mission & Philosophy
Lightworks was conceived and brought into physical manifestation by KB and Darreck with lots of help, guidance and inspiration from many friends and the Universe. Our main mission is:

• To promote, support and nurture alternative healing, personal wellness and mind-body-spirit disciplines;

• To facilitate and support the work & service of all healers, facilitators, teachers & lightworkers;

• To facilitate and serve others in their journey towards awareness and enlightenment, healing and empowerment, evolution and ascension.

What Lightworks Offer

Light, love, healing and learning!!! Anything else is non-essential. How do we do this? Whatever it takes: workshops, private healing, consultation sessions, books, CDs, oils, tools, crystals or whatever that resonates with us!

A lot of time, people just come in and sit in the energy of our space, and they tell us they are experiencing a subtle healing. Others might just have a quick chat with us or quick browse of our books, and they ‘co-incidentally’ find the higher advice they were looking for. We like to think that everybody leaves with a gift!

We have an informal policy for our retail: we only carry products which we feel will confer a real and positive benefit to people. Our book section is more like a public library. We actually encourage people to sit down and read: it may be just that one sentence that you need to find from that particular book, and you don’t necessarily have to buy that book either.
