REIKI  is a gentle, non-invasive method of NATURAL HEALING. Here's how Reiki
works:
Without pressing, massaging, or any kind of physical manipulation, the
practioner places his or her hands lightly on or slightly above the client's
body. The practitioner becomes a conduit for universal healing energy. The
energy is channelled from The Universe or from the Spirit Guides & Angels that
watch over us, through the practitioner's hands and into the energy field of the
client. Sometimes a warmth can be felt, sometimes a tingling or pressure, and
sometimes just a simple feeling of peace washes over you as your aura is
cleared. As your spiritual body is cleared & balanced, your mental, emotional
and physical bodies clear as well. Reiki begins healing on a soul level and it
touches every part of your existence.
REIKI is a Japanese Word for Universal Life Force Energy.
How Does Reiki  Work?
Reiki is believed to have ancient origins. It is a all-natural and
non-intrusive and holistic healing system which harnesses universal life-force
energy to accelerate the natural healing process of the recipient. This
universal life force energy is known by many names in many cultures, such as
'prana' in India and 'chi' in China. Reiki practitioners believe that this life
force energy is present and an essential component in all life. This life force
nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital
functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished
function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body, and may
eventually lead to physical, emotional, mental & spiritual imbalances, such as
dis-ease, anger, depression, and other forms of illness.
The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted
when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or
feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves
to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This
diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and
charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy
field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings
are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In
so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing
the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
