Natural Healing with Essential Oils in Aromatherapy

Essential oils are oils that are extracted from plants, seeds, herbs, roots, etc. that contain healing properties for our bodies! ((We cannot, and do no attempt to, diagnose or treat any illness!!)) Which ones to use, and how you use them, are entirely up to you. Pure unadulterated essential oils are potent, and powerful! Some of the stronger oils, like Oregano and Clove, should be used with carrier oil like olive or vegetable oil.

Aromatherapy is how we use these oils to help us - be it physically or psychologically. With so many things around us causing our body and mind harm, pure essential oils provide a wonderful, natural way to help our bodies heal and protect itself. An aroma is a smell...did you know that just smelling an oil that is of high grade can make you feel better?

Many people think that when they buy essential oil that is labeled as "pure" they are getting good oils. This is not necessarily true. Unfortunately, not all essential oils are created equal. Most of the essential oils on the market are much lower quality than we would expect.

So, CHECK LABELS. Pure means diluted with a lesser quality essential oil - not that it has no chemicals added to it. In the U.S., all you need is 5% of essential oil in the bottle in order to label it "100% pure." Natural means the oil was not adulterated with vegetable oils, propylene glycol, SD Alcohol 40 or other chemicals. Complete means the oil was not stripped or redistilled. (When you redistill the oil you lose the therapeutic properties.) Genuine/Grade A/Therapeutic are the cream of the crop from the seeds grown in organic soil to the distillation by steam at low pressure & low temperature for the right amount of time … no chemicals are ever used in the process and there are multiple tests done along the way.
