Divine Wills are the energies I have been working with for the past 6 weeks, and it's been both challenging and rewarding. SoulStudio is one of the many 'manifestations' that happened because of the innerwork I have been doing with the Wills.

Below is an article about my experiences with the Wills that I have written for Lightworks - it's going to be up on their website pretty soon, but I got the inner nudges to post it up here first.

Anyway, this is the first part of my 4-part series on the Divine Wills. That's not all, of course. In between, I will be writing about the how-tos, tips and suggestions on working with the Wills. (but gimme some time to write! :P)

For those of you who happened to land on this page, see if the Wills resonate with you. I hope this article would give you brief idea of how the Divine Wills work. It's purely based on my experiences - but that's the beauty of the Wills: because all our paths are unique, the energies work differently for everyone.

Year-ends. Ahh..a good time for reflections. What’s 2007 like for me? I would say it’s a mixed one, but overall, it was certainly a peak year for my spiritual growth. With the sheer intention of wanting to grow soulfully, the Universe seems to be listening and offered me many opportunities to move forward. As a soul seeker, I went through a period of lessons and discoveries, reading almost every book on the New Age shelf, taking up a good many workshops, and meeting many friends and teachers along the way.

All of it helped, of course. Thanks to the insights and discoveries, I am a different person than I have been 365 days ago. Now, I am living a quiet lifestyle that my 2006 Self would have probably called ‘boring’ and ‘uncool’. But what Lily07 is experiencing now that Lily06 never did is the innate connection with the Self and a kind of peaceful inner space that is beyond words. The meaning of ‘life is beautiful’ takes on a rather different angle now.

But the road to peace isn’t always peaceful. At one point I was scattered. Confused. Lost. It was like standing at the fork of my spiritual road with signboards pointing at every direction. Where do I go? I was nowhere near my old Self anymore, yet I didn’t know how to live with my new Self. And the recent realization that there really is ‘no place to go, nowhere to be and nothing to do’ didn’t help – in fact it scared me.

I didn’t know where or who to turn to. Books and teachers can only tell you so much. The spiritual path is a personal one; and an infinite one. There’s not one fail-proof, sure-win path that is a be-all, end-all for everyone. Our spiritual paths are as unique as who our Selves are. There’s certainly no such thing as reading a Self For Dummies book and then suddenly knowing all about your Self.

Then along came the Divine Wills (you can read all about it here). Even though I have been working with Orin’s materials for awhile (I resonated a lot with them), I didn’t know about the Divine Wills until KB introduced them to me.

“Check it out. Work with the 7 rays and see where the energy takes you,” KB suggested. He had recently facilitated a workshop on Divine Wills in Penang, and it was a powerful experience not only for those who attended it, but for him as well.

Even though I couldn’t make it to the workshop because of time constraints, I can still attest to that. I have started on the Wills five weeks ago. At the time of writing this, I am working with the 6th (I work with a different Will every week).

For the past 5 weeks it has been one interesting experience after another. I say ‘interesting’ because I have experienced everything from tears to fears, serenity and epiphanies to quiet bliss, deep insights and bottomless voids. I can say the Wills helped to accelerate my spiritual growth. For one, I now no longer run away or distract myself from my issues. Yes, things you thought you can bury forever will crop up. And two, the Wills give me a structured framework to work with my soul. The Wills help by making me see things from a soul perspective instead of my personality’s.

I can confidently say that the Wills work for me. Remember when I said that our paths are all unique? And when we arrive at that space of inner confusion, there’s really no manual to solve it for us? So where do we find the answers? Within. You don’t have to look anywhere else. Whatever you need to know, you already know. The wisdom is within you. Here, the Divine Wills help me tap into that inner wisdom through my soul.

That said, the Divine Wills aren’t magic wands to make everything better. The Wills are merely inner tools that help you to connect to your divine Self. If you do decide to work with them, then be prepared for innerwork, lots of it (maybe a lifetime of it!).

It not always a smooth ride as you journey with these Wills. Innerwork requires you to surf your waves of emotions whether you are sailing on calm seas or on rough tidal waves. Yet after every cruise in the inner ocean, it’s like a breath of fresh air as you discover newfoundlands within your Self.

To make things easier for me, I always ask my lessons to be gentle. And sharing my experiences with people who are working with the Wills too - like KB - makes the journey a more inspiring and insightful one. He’s become somewhat like a mentor to me, shedding light of inspiration onto my blindspots.

“So how did it go?” KB asked some weeks ago regarding my progress with the Wills.

I had many things reeling in my head that I wanted to tell him, but I didn’t know where to start. “Hmm…I dunno,” was my reply. I was in a slight daze after an enlightening kundalini yoga session that evening. “But I’ll keep you posted”

With that, a series of weekly emails on Divine Wills began and they had since evolved to everything you are reading here in this series. Hmm.. I have a feeling the Great Ones might be behind this with their powerful rays of Harmonize and Act (haha!).

Anyhow, I am certainly looking forward to attending KB’s next Divine Will workshop. I heard it’s coming up in January 08. Eventhough I am getting good results working with them on my own, it’s a different experience in a group setting. Like with group meditations, the collective energy is powerful.

All in all, the Divine Wills have changed my life and perhaps they could change yours too. If they pull at your heartstrings, connect with them and see where they take you.
