“There are seven Great Ones who transmit seven types of force and energy to humanity. They are sometimes called Ray Lords. Each ray contains qualities that condition humanity's souls, personalities, minds, emotions, and bodies. Divine Will is the Will aspect of each of these rays. In this course, you will be aligning with the Divine Will aspect of each ray, as well as the consciousness aspect of each of the Rays. The consciousness aspect is the quality that affects your personality; the Will aspects are qualities that lead you to the Divine Self, the divine archetype of your life, and to union with the One Self.”

The Journey Begins: Initiate

I began the Divine Wills journey in early November 2007. It’s an infinite journey, where the ultimate destination is back to the pure Self of love and light. What follows are my personal insights and experiences with the Wills. They are adapted from my journal entries as well as my emails and conversations with my mentor, KB.

DIVINE WILL 1: THE WILL TO INITIATE
The energy of Initiate, as I would describe it, is the “Big Picture” Will. When I connected with this Will for the first time, the energy felt like one swift swoosh zapping down my spine, followed by a strong electric-like buzz.

The effects of this Will are subtle at first. It gradually unfolds and blossoms, but not only when you work with this first ray. The energy continues to weave into your inner space even when you work with the other six Wills. I see it like an attunement process where this ray activates your Soul to prepare you for your Divine Plans. This Will helps to bring you to a new level of consciousness, giving you a bird’s eye view of your life.

Ray of Laser Light
At the time when I started with this Will, I was feeling rather lost. I felt as if my life was inside a snow globe and everything was shaken up, uprooted from the strong foundations that I had built. As I reviewed each area of my life one by one, many things didn't seem to gel together. I didn't feel very comfortable with many of the goals I was setting. I would have a goal on one hand and then a higher vision on the other. How to make them align with one another? That was the question. I needed clarity.

Create With a Cause
Perhaps it was Initiate, or perhaps it could be everything - the accumulation of all the things I had learned through books, experiences and people. One morning later that week, I woke up with an aha! I had a sudden knowing of what the missing piece was.

It was a north point, a foundation, a big picture, a concept that summed up the reason for all of this: me, myself and life. If I were the one who created my life, if I were the designer of my life, then I'd better have a concept for my design. Heck, I learned that principle in architecture school before! My lecturers used to fail those students with grand, good-looking building designs because their designs didn't answer the question: WHY. Looking good on the outside wasn't enough because, beyond the whims and frills, it was simply an empty shell, it was style without substance. It was superficial.

That one realization opened a new door to my Self. I began seeing my life in a different light.

Initiate: The Big Picture Will
Through experience, I have learned that Initiate only helps you to gain clarity - tapping on your shoulder (or maybe knocking on your head!) telling you that you are more than your personality. Initiate helps by centering you, shining a laser light into areas that correspond to your Higher Self, highlighting the things you need to understand. Initiate brings your focus back to what you need to know right now to move forward.

Initiate leads you back to your True Self, your Soul, bringing you to higher awareness so you’d be more aware of this inner part of you and the space that exists within you. All in all, Initiate creates a starting point, a new space (I see it as my canvas) as you work with the other Wills.

Tip: If you are beginning on your DW Journey, I strongly recommend that you find time everyday to record your experiences, no matter how trivial they seem. Or, you can share it with someone – your DW teacher, your loved ones or your spiritual peers. That way, you’d be able to gain more insight on where you are and how you have grown.
