Journey with the Divine Wills : Seeing Beauty: Unify (Article 3)

image Seeing Beauty: Unify (Article 3)

Sometimes, all it takes is just a change of paradigms. Evolving the Self isn’t always about getting out there and taking action. Most of the time, it is enough to just stay in our center and change our paradigms of the world. And, if you are looking for your heaven on earth, it’s already here - if you are willing to see it. As they say, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Most of the time, it is enough to just stay in our center and change our paradigms of the world. And, if you are looking for your heaven on earth, it’s already here - if you are willing to see it. As they say, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

How do Divine Wills Work?
"These Divine Will energies offer you great opportunity for spiritual advancement. As you call Divine Will into your life, you can more easily fulfill your purpose on earth, manifest the Divine blueprint of your life, and be of greater service to humanity.
You can attune to and align with Divine Will to find your higher path and purpose, to take those steps that are next for you, to see what is essential and life-affirming from your soul's perspective, and to let go of what is nonessential and that takes away your life energy. You can let Divine Will into your life for transformation at every level of your being."
- Orin on Divine Wills

DIVINE WILL 2: THE WILL TO UNIFY
Where Initiate is a swoosh of energy that descends down in one strong directional flow, Unify feels like a cloud of peach-pinkish energy with gold dust slowly shimmering down, enveloping the entire body. It's soft, warm and comes with a sense of peacefulness that lingers on. If there are three words to describe Unify, it would be: nurturing, peaceful... and spa-like. Unify has given me a safe space, a comfort zone to get in closer touch with my inner Self.
Seeing Spirit
During the week that I worked with Unify, I was invited to Bali to do a spa resort review. It was perfect synchronicity because Bali became a canvas to observe the many things Unify bring to life.

I stayed at this resort located at the northern part of Bali, 3 hours away from the main tourist spots of Kuta and Denpasar. The 6-star resort is as luxurious as what they have claimed on their website: elegantly-furnished villas with private pools, gourmet meals and first class service. But it wasn't all this that made such an impact on me (so much so I am highlighting this as part of my Unify experience). I was experiencing it all from another perspective: humanity.

Within the resort itself, I saw the sense of community among the hotel employees. As 90% of the staffs are locals employed from the surrounding villages, they see each other as family. They help each other out and look out for one another. The guard would help out the gardener to water the plants; the reception staff would help in the kitchen when they have the free time. They don't have the concept of "...but this job isn’t mine". Here, the resort grounds become somewhat like a small village to them.

I saw respect among them. Whether you are a fishermen living in a hut or the manager in the resort (they are best friends, I heard, going out to sea to fish every weekend) - you are both fellow humans walking on the same lava sand. Snobby hierarchy is not in their dictionary of life.

Outside of the resort, in the nearby villages, I saw the 'now' lifestyle in action: nowhere to go, nothing to do, just be. Laid back and easy going, the locals are alien to the culture of rush, haste and urgency. They aren’t lazy, sluggish or sloth-like, mind you. The farmers rise early to tend to fields while the fishermen never miss a good day to go out to sea. But in between all, when responsibilities are dutifully fulfilled, they sit back and enjoy the sea breezes.

Also, I saw creativity. Villagers utilize their free time (they have plenty of it there) to express their inner creator through wood/stone/glass carvings, paintings, weaving. The workmanship is consistently meticulous and delicate - a great example of passionate craftsmen.

But most of all, I saw complete co-creativity with nature. From the mountaintop, the grandeur of nature is immense. Here, Gaia lovingly embraces everything and everyone in her arms by allowing them to grow their crops, build their homes and live their lives. Houses sit comfortably on the edge of the mountains, as if they are only 'borrowing space'. The rolling hills are beautifully graced by paddy stalks and everywhere frangipani trees dust the many herb gardens with their fragrant white blossoms.

Yes, for the first time, I really felt the loving energy of earth. Was Unify working its magic, lifting a layer of fog so I could see the beauty that had always been there?

Beauty Redefined
But, that’s not all. On the third day of my stay, I had a profound experience while meditating near the ocean. As I called on Unify and asked to connect to Mother Earth, I moved quickly into the flow: complete stillness, a slight floaty feeling.

I was feeling pretty good and peaceful. I was listening to Deva Premal's Om Namo Bhagavate (this is my Unify theme song because it fits the energy very, very well - see if it has the same effect on you)

Then as I drifted deeper into the flow, something happened...

From a point of stillness, all of a sudden an immense sense of gratitude washed over me. Yes, deep, deep gratitude… as if I can’t thank the world enough for being alive. The feelings came in waves and seemed to get stronger at every heartbeat. I didn't really know how to express the strong emotions. I felt as if my heart would burst out from my chest and start dancing with the waves. Tears streamed down my cheek, out of utter joy.

With my eyes closed, I felt beauty and perfection like never before. At that moment, I felt I was part of her: the earth with her skies and seas, down to the finest grain of sand near my feet. Would it be too arrogant to say I felt it's as if Mother Nature was responding to my appreciation of her?

As I write this, words cannot capture the feeling entirely. But the moment still lives in me: a moment of aliveness, of completeness. It was just beautiful...and that experience changed my inner visions completely. I am beginning to see beauty through my heart.

All Become One
Beauty is in oneness. Oneness is seeing beauty in everything and seeing their connection with each other. All of it cannot be experienced as a separate entity.

A single frangipani is pretty on its own, as a single bud, but if you see it glowing under the moon on top of the tree as the ocean waves lap back and forth nearby - you are witnessing a masterpiece coming alive. It is the collective, a togetherness of everything that makes 'beautiful' beautiful.

Is that not a Unify quality? A oneness of everything. Everything in our world provides the metaphors that whisper gently of unity - as long as you are willing to see them.

Divine Connections
Unify isn’t just about large-scale oneness. Back home, before the trip, when I called on Unify, it helped me resolved a few issues on 'overgiving' and my tendency to ‘pamper’ other people's personality selves (a.k.a. doormat-ism). It was quite a breakthrough to be able to see this with clarity. And the pleasantly odd thing was that it only took a step as simple as just letting things and people be however they want to be.

There was also another out-of-the-blue incident. I was just quietly having lunch at a cafe one afternoon when I noticed a little girl about four or five looking at me intently. I gave her a smile, and she smiled back at me shyly. Then I turned back to my lunch. Suddenly this little girl casually came over and leaned against me, hugging me as if she knew me all her life. Was it the Unify energy? Haha…maybe! Unify makes you magnetic to people too, according to Orin.

Unify: The Higher Vision Will
Unify clears the dust from our inner vision and lets us see the same world with different eyes – the eyes of our souls. As the soul can only see light, love and unity, beauty is revealed in everything.

Overall, I had a beautiful experience with this Will. But it’s not always this way, especially when we refuse to let go of old ways of seeing the world. There may be times when you may not relate to what you are seeing, because they juxtapose against your strongly held beliefs. You may experience what Orin called as “crisis of vision”. The key is to be open to whatever you are seeing – without judgment. Let the sights and scenes flow in, whether or not your personality is comfortable with it. This Will requires us not only to be open-minded, but to be open at heart as well.

Tip: When doing the connection exercises, Orin suggested not to be too concerned about how it's done, because it’s the intention of working with the energies that allows us to connect. Try this: first let the visualizations techniques lead the way. Then allow your imagination to flow and see where it takes you. Most of the time, you would intuitively know what to do next, as images and feelings begin to come up to guide you. Remember: open your heart and mind.
